Lazy Bear sits in a quiet residential area, inside Gatlinburg city limits, about a mile up East Parkway (US-321) from downtown. Go from mountain calm to the Parkway's restaurants, shops, Ripley's attractions, Anakeesta and the mountain coaster in a few minutes. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in the US, begins at the edge of town, with Sugarlands Visitor Center and Newfound Gap Road a short drive away.

Welcome to Lazy Bear, a modern Smoky Mountain cabin just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It's spotless, full of bear-country charm, and has huge mountain views with everything close by. The whole cabin is yours, all on one level. There are 2 bedrooms: a king suite, and a family room with a bunk bed and a crib. There are 2 full bathrooms, one with a tub, and it sleeps up to 5. Relax in the living room by the gas fireplace, gather at the dining table, or cook in the fully equipped kitchen. It has an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, with coffee provided. For fun, the loft game room has an arcade, and there's exercise equipment plus books and toys for the kids. Outside, soak in your private hot tub, grill on the BBQ, and eat outdoors on the porch and deck while you watch for wildlife. Also included: AC and heat, ceiling fans, a TV, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, a hair dryer, an iron, fresh linens, toiletries, and 2 free parking spaces. Long stays are welcome. Downtown Gatlinburg's restaurants, shops, Anakeesta and the mountain coaster are about 5 minutes away. The National Park begins at the edge of town, and Pigeon Forge is 20–30 minutes away. Good to know: check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 10 AM. Self check-in, no parties, no smoking, no pets. The main guest must be 21+. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM. Come play, soak, and watch for wildlife!

A car is best. Downtown Gatlinburg is about a 5-minute drive via East Parkway (US-321); turn at Traffic Light #3. The Gatlinburg Trolley runs along the Parkway (check the current schedule and stops). The National Park entrance is just beyond downtown. Pigeon Forge is about 20–30 minutes away, and McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville is about 1 hour.
